Parts for Rotel RA-1210

Good Day All,

I just found a Rotel RA-1210 Amp at goodwill for $20. The only problem (so far) is that it is missing the fuse cap. Does anyone have one... or know of a good Rotel parts supplier? I have emailed Rotel, searched eBay, and contacted a few vintage audio companies. No dice thus far.

I haven't received a response from any source. Are these just impossible to find parts for?
 
I think the problem is that you are assuming that its a rare part. Some fuse holders screw in, and others bayonet in. I don't know which the Rotel has, though I would guess the screw in type. As long as you have the right type of these two, any cap will work. The exception is the very narrow cap type used in electronic instruments, and, oddly enough, in old KLH stuff. That one is hard to find, the others are common down at the dump as part of a larger piece of equipment.
 
That cap IS an oddball if it's like the one that 1412's use. Has a phillips head on it? Other caps might work, but I think I know what your talking about. Rotel has been pretty helpful to me in the past, and of all the parts I would think might be available, I'd bet on that fusecap. Here's the guy who's helped me in the past at Rotel (B&W)

I have a good one of these caps, and a "bad "one. I just can't get it off the parts unit, and the slot is eaten up. If I can get the bad one off in one piece, it's yours. Obviously, I need the good one. Just let me know if it's the "phillips" head style.
 
Kevin. Thank you for the recommendation. Unfortunately, I never paid attention to the fuse cap, until it was gone. It is the screw in type. I went to a couple local vintage audio shops on the north side of Chicago and they didn't have any parts. Here's hoping Shane can help. Thanks! IF you do get the other fuse cap off, I'll give it a shot.

Or just replace the entire fuse holder with a similar new-stock type carried at any of the major electronics places, or even RadioShack.

I looked through our old legacy product and, unfortunately, we
do not have a RA-1210, so we do not have the fuse cap for this model.
