I found this as a useful epoxy repair for boards and adhering pads down. It's rated to 500 degrees so it will withstand light and fast soldering. The list below will handle most board repairs we run into with vintage gear short of rebuilding a board thats turned to charcoal. The other option would be copper eyelets for repairing ruined holes in a board ( from charcoal ) :)

Gonna need a better amp than I repaired using the cheap stuff to cover that $70 in supplies, but it is great to see those products available and have em in one list.

I used regular epoxy, guess I need to check its condition, reinforced (colored) with sanding residue from another board. Then I used chunks of wire to rebuild traces, probably glued down, or the leads of the components. The coup de grace was using a green sharpie to duplicate the dot pattern of the foil on the component side of the board. I guess about $5 worth of junk for that repair but it was only a square inch or so.

I work on a lot of other stuff than just vintage gear and sometimes, the ask it to get it back as close as possible to OEM. So I don't mind spending a few bucks for a higher grade of supply for the repairs. It all depends on how far down he rabbit hole you want to go :D
 
Well is someone else is paying for it. No problems. there. That's part of why Iliked having all the info in one place.
