So we had these in our garage boxed up for I don't even know how long. All the drivers and woofers look to be in perfect shape and have no wear or signs of disintegrating anywhere BUT the backs were cut out and the top jack plates were removed and replaced with speaker terminal clips. This picture doesn't have one but the other speaker does have the clips. Also I think the "cross-over" wires from the one jack plate to the other was removed. Now I have tested these with regular speaker wire to the terminals and both speakers do work perfectly so my question is what can I do with these. I understand these are meant for live music and stages and to be played presumably very loud. But can these actually be used in a home setting hooked up to a power amplifier for a stereo system? Or are these basically ruined due to the cut out on the back since I can't find a plate big enough to cover it. Can I sell these as they are and would people buy them and how much are a pair like these cost? A lot of questions I know but I appreciate all the help!
