Peavey PV 115

So I've been looking at getting one pair of these Peavey PV 115 and I can't find the RMS wattage I keep seeing peak and program power well both of those are different from RMS power and people keep telling me the 400 watts is the RMS but that's the program power well i've had it I just have no clue program and RMS is totally different anyone else willing to tell me what the actual RMS wattage is?

Not sure what your concern is, they are listed at handling 400 watts. What type of application do you want them for? How large of an amp are you using? 50 watts continuous from a 400 watt amp depending on the source could stress the crap out of these. Vocal only not a problem, compressed music playback getting there and band sound reinforcement, you could kill em with a kick drum.

No my crown amps are way more powerful than that I have the Crown xli 2500 which is 500 watts per channel @ 8 ohms

I've worked on these. 2.375" VC stamped-steel frame woofer and RX14 horn driver (1.375" diaphragm/coil).

They'll handle about 250 watt "RMS" (continuous power) for the whole cabinet.

A 500w/ch. amp is not unreasonable for these, though, as long as you're using the amp below clipping. If you clip that big of an amp on them, you WILL kill them sooner or later.

They're made for Pro sound and will take a good pounding. Any amp clipping will heat up the voice coil and ruin it......

So far you've been the most helpful the only thing i was looking for was RMS power and that's it thank you everything else I already knew.
