I came across these ads recently. Other than the Hpm's, they're more than I care to pay but look to be good deals. I especially like the turntable. Wish I could afford that. Btw, there's some more good stuff local such as Mcintosh amps, B&W, etc. Some is old and has been posted by myself many months ago when I was posting and browsing the forums regularly.

No, I didn't get the MG-1's. I e-mailed the guy and he said he would call me. After a couple of days I e-mailed him again and he said he had already promised them to someone else. Win some, lose some. I was thinking about the Technics and Missions. I have never heard Missions before but they have a good reputation. After the HPM 1100's and the MX-1 and the LX-10's ( from Mobile CL), I should probably give it a rest until I unload some of my accumulated crap.
 
Do you know what model the Missions are? I was curious if they were any good too.

How are the 1100's? I really wanted to hear those. Weren't they $150? I don't really have space left for such big "bookshelf" speakers but I almost jumped on the 100's that he had for sale. They seem to be gone now though, the ad was deleted.
 
Advent Legacy II + Pioneer amp $35:

There were some Legacy's on CL a while back with Pioneer (I think) replacement woofers. I wonder if these are them again. Still, they look to be in good condition. The only thing stopping me from swooping them up is I really don't think they would fit in my car. I have a Nissan Sentra sedan and I just barely fit the Hpm's in the backseat.
