I guess I missed the mention of "some people" in the article. Regardless, it certainly doesn't present itself as fact, only possibility. Very clearly.

Also, "some people" think the earth is round..... .so there's that.

Regardless I'm always interested in new ideas ....... you just never know ..... it might be something that proves itself as useful.

No, a vast majority KNOW the Earth is round.
 
This is not farfetched at all, we vibrate, everything is made of Atoms which vibrate. Everything has a resonance frequency; this is not debatable.

For instance, when you go for a walk in the woods most feel a calming effect as our own vibrations and that of nature and the tree's resonance frequencies are closer to ours, so we feel more at ease.

Empaths like myself can feel the bad vibrations of someone who is irritated five feet away. We stay away from them it is not pleasant for us. At some point I am sure most have felt something similar. When you are sick you can become even more sensitive to such things and even to your own vibrations and you seek something that calms you.

This although seeming strange is not at all, we and everything around us is vibrating as everything is made of vibrating atoms and has a unique resonance frequency. Just like a Rife machine sends out certain targeted frequencies and like a glass having its own resonance frequency that some singers can break, a Rife machine can send vibrations hooked up to the user that can kill certain cells and disease at their respective resonance frequency.

Although seemingly odd it's not.

The article probably uses the 400 hz range as I if I remember correctly is a typical person's normal frequency. There are charts online.

5% of the people felt something, if it were that simple I’m sure the percentage would have been much higher. 5% saying they felt something and 95% not is by definition odd.

Never said it was simple just that science has known the relationship between frequencies and us for eons.

Just like meditation is used to settle ones own internal vibrations.

I have zero comment on how effective what they are doing is just that it's not all that weird.

Anyone listening to test tones needs to have their head examined. Mark Knopfler, Led Zeppelin, JJ Cale, Robert Cray, Joe Walsh,Ella Fitzgerald and the like cures what ales me and sounds a billion times better.

To try and be as delicate as possible about this, the colon's job is to absorb things and it doesn't exactly matter all that much what direction it enters from. Suppositories work on the same principal.
 
I've been thinking about this recently. Somehow, I've just heard Radiohead's Kid A album for the first time recently.
I find the song "Everything In Its Right Place" really... I don't know, calming, soothing, pleasant ?


Electronica isn't my style of music. The vocals are distorted and difficult to discern.
As far as I can tell, there are no guitars, usually a requirement for my taste in music.

I was trying to think why I keep coming back to listen to this song in particular.
I'm listening to it multiple times a day.
I'm wondering if that song resonates pleasantly with my body?
Am I attuned to those frequencies in that song ?
Am I getting a aural buzz from harmonics ?
Am I a junky :eek: ?

I'd love your insights,

there have been binaural beats on youtube for yrs. different frequencies are claimed to have different effects.
i have tried some of the sleep inducing ones, tho not with headphones [ dont have any ]
they did nothing for me, if they induced sleep it was through shear boredom

"This songs resonates with me" is not a saying for nothing, you feel some connection with it which is fine so go with it.

I heard this song for the first time, I didn't see the video initially, I had no connection with the words as I have not left an abusive relationship ever. I did like the voice and I found the song extremely calming and myself swaying to the music.

It felt very good and I as well, listened to it many time times a day, it just made me feel better and calm. I tried to figure out why I like this song so much, but am not sure, maybe the tempo or something.

Remember I had not seen the video before just heard the song. It just felt right to me

At the opposite of the calming effect of this song for 50 years ABC by the Jacson 5 can always get me in a better mood for some reason, the simple bass line, the tempo I don't know, but its still my ultimate favorite song for some reason. It never fails to put a smile on my face.

It just resonates with me.
