Perfect album?

Would love to know which albums you consider to be "perfect". An album where every song, every note even, is something you look forward to and there are no aspects you wish weren't there. Can we keep it to one album at a time? I'll start us off with my choice (for today):

Sorry, My life would be less joyful if there was just one.

Mark Knopfler - Tracker & Kill to get Crimson
Led Zeppelin I,
Dwight Yoakam - This Time,
Bob Marley - Natty Dread,
Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood
Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
Steely Dan - Royal Scam
Dire Straits - Dire Staits
Little Feat - Time Loves a Hero
Jack Johnson - On and On

I feel guilty for leaving off Robert Cray, Hank WIlliams, Joe Walsh, Zebra, Maze, Bonnie Raitt, Duke Ellington, Merle Haggard, Aretha Ella Fitzgerald, Lyle Lovett..........

Nice list! Save some for another day! :)

All of the music I enjoy has imperfections. If it was created by humans, then by definition it is imperfect. And I have no interest in hearing music that wasn't created by humans, even if that seems to be the direction we're headed.

We've been down this road before, @ several threads, since circa 2002. IIRC, Imight, in one ormore of those threads, cited (also) Nebraska, or at least gave it honorable mention, 'cuz it is damned-near, if not damned-fully, perfect LP material.

As long as we're here, I'll mention (again) a few stalwarts I likely also cited in similar threads:

1. Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
2. Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
3. Bobb Trimble - Harvest Of Dreams
4. The Shaggs - Philosophy Of The World
5. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
6. The Who - Who Sell Out
7. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
8. Johnny Cash - Unchained

If I were to get into "live" recordings, there would be a lotta Slayer, Slipknot, Metallica, and Motorhead added to this inventory, but I'll draw the line @ "studio" recordings.

^^ PS: I already wanna add a few...

9. The Doors - The Doors (1966) note: Mono mix in particular.
10. The Rolling Stones - Exile On Mainstreet (1972)
11. Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality (1971)
12. Black Sabbath - Volume IV (1972)

How quickly such a list grows.

Not well known, not a 'classic', not on any 'greatest albums of all time', but an album I always listen to from start to finish, usually more that once back- to-back. Every track is just a pleasure.

Sorry, I'm fairly new here. I figured it would have been asked at some point... maybe many times... but I haven't seen it.. and I'm just interested some peoples' ideas, and maybe some recommendations! :)

There are many albums that I consider great, classic, amazing.. whatever... but not necessarily PERFECT ... to my ears.

Lynyrd Skynyrd:Street Survivors
Bostons debut album.
Mellencamp: Uh Huh
Beatles: Abby Road
Knopfler:Tracker
Dire Straits:Love Over Gold
and many more I can't think of at the moment. ;)

Abbey Road is perhaps my favorite album of all time - if it wasn't for Sun King - and maybe Octopus's Garden - I'd say it's perfect ;)
