Perpetuum Ebner PE 66 and Blaupunkt Rio Deluxe Questions...

Hey all. I just picked up an absolutely stunning Blaupunkt Rio Deluxe. It is gorgeous. I was told by the PO that it didn't work. I got it home, plugged it in, FM works great. All speakers work great. The main issue is the PE 66 turntable in it is in dire need of a new motor. The bearings in it are toast. The pe66 has an odd (to me) idler wheel setup and the shaft for the motor that is supposed to contact the idler is toast. You can grab the main shaft coming through the motor and wiggle it in/out/and all about. The motor will just grrrrr unless you can pry the shaft into the perfect spot.

Anyway, my question is can I...

A) find a replacement motor for the PE66
B) find a replaement PE66
Or
C) will an any other turntable fit into the same spot in my Rio Deluxe currently inhabited by the PE66

I can't find much in the way of info or parts for the PE66. Any info or input about the PE66 or the Rio would be GREATLY appeciated!!!

Not as many of those around as Dual or Elac, obviously. And its an early 60's kind of thing from what I gather. Anythings possible given enough time and patience, big question is what are your limits?
I have a feeling this is going to be a tough one as your problem sounds alot like it may be typical for that motor at that age. Though Im hoping I am wrong on all counts.
Maybe someone knows where you can source a good motor or whole tt, preferably whole tt, as you would really want to have back up parts I think.
If it comes down to a whole other direction, I would think a Dual 1009 or 1019 would fit, though I have no idea how close the cutout requirements would compare. Im sure some mods would be required.
 
In germany the PE66 is quite common. If you can post a picture of it, maybe I will find one in my stock. I own a lot old PE parts. Just finished my PE Musical 36VK portable. The shifting plastic has broken and I found another with a bad plinth on the fleemarket. Now its fine runnig.....
