All I know is the 700 put Bob Carver on the map, followed by the 700B and then the 700 two. What would be a ball park dollar amount for a working 700 or 700B amp?

seems like low end would be $350- up to about $600-- seems like...

does 'working' mean all original but still functioning? never been used to drive club speakers with the volume turned to 11 all night?

they are very cool amps, but many seem to have a history of heavy abuse. i have a 400 that i love...hope to get me hands on a 700 one of these days...

Serious objet d'lust for an audio-crazed schoolboy in the Seventies-me. Finally heard one at the KA house at Univ. of Maryland, College Park, 1977. OK, but not the "Having an audience with God" experience I'd fancied it to be. "Slow Ride" by Foghat was impressive played on it at reasonably cranked levels however. Still would like to have one- but it's kinda far down the list of Stuff I Absolutely, Positively Can't-Do-Without Gotta Have.-Sandy G.

Russ is correct. Buck a watt without adding up the two channels. $350 or $400. If it was really a rare piece, maybe more. But there's a few of those out there.
