Phase Linear Model 300 cosmetic repair

Hi All,
I have a Phase Linear Model 300 Series Two that sometime in its life something got spilled (beer?) on the top cover and there is a rust spot in the middle the size of a quarter. There are other spots on where the printing is scraped and ugly. The rest of it is in great shape and it works good.
Anyone know where to get a replacement top,? Any donors out there? The other option I thought of was to spray it with "wrinkle finish" industrial paint that is very close to the color it is now and say goodbye to the printing on top.
Thoughts anyone?

What printing is on the top cover plate? Yes, I would go wrinkle. Haven't seen much sold in rattle cans the past three or four decades, the Methylene Chlorine restriction bit, you know. Omg, if the chemically squeamish types only realized the peril of a lifetime exposure to Dihydrogen Monoxide !

Wrinkle or textured. I just used some mat finish textured paint on a cover and a chassis. It came out looking like something that was factory. I like wrinkled, but it can be hard to clean? Getting all the dust out of the wrinkles.
