Hi, friends.
About a year ago a guy at a used shop recommended a pair of Phase Tech PC-60s for my system to replace a pair of Polk Signtaure 60s that were WAY too bass heavy. When demoing the Phase Techs, THREE people in the shop said that they could not believe the sound that was coming out of the little sealed cabinets. They made such a great addition that I also bought a pair of PC-80s on the strength of online reviews. The PC-80s are older and it's not clear whether the woofers (or tweeters) have ever been replaced. A couple of other members on here have said that Phase Tech is very responsive about replacement parts, they will either ship the parts to you or you can ship he speakers to them and they will perform the work. My question is this: If the woofers and tweeters were replaced, what improvements can be expected sonically?
