im looking for some help troubleshooting this little gem.

It started with an intermittent problem that went away whenever I tried to test it out. Now it is solid. Lights up, but no motor movement in any of the 3 speed settings. I homed the motor, and as far as I can tell, the windings seem to be all good, however there is one spot that concerns me.

What should I check?

First, I am guessing the interior belt - not the one that spins the platter but the second enclosed square belt is intact. If that is still intact, then recap the old guy. The boards are as shaky as the later 212. Those are the two areas I would check first if the motor is not doing its thing. I do know that the service manual is up at vinyl engine as I put it there. Good luck!

Thanks Jim, yes, the interior belt is in place. I also have a spare.

I'll recap and report back. Got a few projects in the works, so it will have to wait a while.
