Philips GA 312 loud clicking with power and touch buttons

Hi everyone,

I just restored/revived a Philips GA 312 but noticed that there is a loud clicking sound when power button or the touch buttons are pressed. Is this typical of these (GA 212/312) units. The table works as it should otherwise. Just wanted to throw out the question because I’ve never used one these Philips TT before.
