I picked up a pair of Phillips 475; they are pristine ( just outta box), have minimal knowledge of early Phillips products but not speakers. They weigh almost 60# and the sound is awful close to my Dahlquist, image well. Problem is no information other than they sold for approx $360-75. Please any info would much be appreciated.:scratch2:

Pretty good but the 476 and 477 would be more desirable :-)

Give them time to run in a bit. I own the 476s. The woofers if original, should need to be re-foamed. You'll find the bass weak unless sitting on the floor. The midrange is above average with that dome.
