I have the Sennheiser 598's not the 600's which I hear are "better". I assume you mean the Philips x2 Fidelios, compared to the 598's the x2's are the superior headphone IMO. Better soundstaging by a noticeable margin and slightly better in all other sonic qualities, better build, more comfortable and better cord. Not exactly answering your question but maybe close. I have several pairs of decent headphones and the x2's have become my go to cans. I like them very, very much.

Worth the money IMO.
