Do these really sell for this much? I guess one needs an opening number but for him to come down to reasonable it might be more than he wants to move.

I looked at recent completed sales on Ebay and they were higher than this. If these had been way higher, I wouldn't have bothered to post the link. I know they were highly regarded back in the day.

they are the best speaker I have owned. They need lots of clean power and subwoofers but they can be pretty spectacular.

one of the real bargains in our hobby.

MSRP was about 495 each back then. Neither of my two pair were anywhere close to this price and one set was rebuilt. Not tall stands and only one set of the 3" legs. These seem to be readily available for 200 a great price to 550 ask bit 3-400 is most common.
