So I got a stereo about a week ago, and it was like rediscovering music!

Unfortunately, the only source is through pandora (which is killing my phone bill, i have no Internet at home) on a smart phone and bluetooth adapter that connects to the stereo.

Would a computer or tablet send better music to my stereo than my phone can?

And if so, any computer will do? I haven't had a computer in about 7 or 8 years so I'd need to get one.

Stereo is peachtree nova 65se, with peachtree BT1.

No, but a Chromecast will, just $35. Also, T-Mobile lets you stream most music without data charges.

Oh, but it does require wifi, would need a router.

I just checked out that chromecast.....

Hook it up to the HDMI port on the TV, audio out RCA's on the back of the TV set to the receiver. That is for those of us that have the extra add-on of surround sound separate from 2-channel stereo mode. Then there's suppose to be some kind of app for the phone or iPad to remotely control chromecast from the comfort of the sofa.

Too cool.....
