Hi !Newbie here.
For now I don’t own a decent integrated Amplifier, just a Sonystr1080 AV Receiver , B&W 606 bookshelf speakers and a Technics sl5 turntable.
When playing digital on the av receiver everything is ok but when playing vinyl I have that subsonic effect on the speakers .
The turntable is connected to the AV receiver using a Pro Ject phono box DC Mm/MC (99$ on Amazon)
Looks like this phono box don’t have a subsonic filter .any recommendations for me? Maybe upgrading the pro ject box to a better phono box with subsonic filter( if amazon will accept my return since I purchase it 4 months ago).
I tried moving the turntable to different location, but same problem.
Phono box connected to receiver using Audioquest cables and speakers to receiver using blue jeans cables
Thanks for your help!
