My vinyl set-up is a Mac 1700 to Klipsch Cornwalls. TT is Pioneer PLX 1000 with an Ortofon blue cart . I've been running the TT direct to the Mac phono input... since I understand it should be a good phono stage. It sounds very nice to me. But I have a Bellari VP130 preamp sitting around from an old set-up. Is there anything to be gained by running the TT through the Bellari, then to the McIntosh? I haven't tried it because I've lost the power supply to the Bellari, anddon't want to order another one if it won't improve sound. All this said, I realize good sound is subjective and varies person to person. Thanks very much for any help!
