Picked up a TU-317 - LED problems

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I have just purchased a TU-317 Tuner.

It works ok but the Signal meter does not light up and the Tune meter has only one right LED working as well as the FM Stereo red LED does not light up.

This does not appear to affect it's operation but I would like to know if they are replaceable and would appreciate any support as I am lost without my LED's.

I haven't had to replace the LED in my Sansui TU-517 but this one looks like it might work :

sure they are led's?
leds almost never fail.
bet they are grain of wheat bulbs.
watch out on the stereo indicater as the lamp driver in many decoder chips is only good for 50ma or so.

Hi DanTana, kc8adu,

Those red LED's work ok, it was not connected properly.

But I do need a replacement Stanley 8V 300ma bulb for the main dial.

And three out of four of the meter bulbs were dead when I bought this tuner. These do not look easy to get to.
