Picked up another Pioneer PL 560

My seventeen year old is getting into the records. He has been listening to all of mine. He has a Marantz 2235 B he has had for years. I gave him a Onkyo 100 watt amp to drive it. Well he has had his eye on my mint Pioneer PL 530. He has always liked it. I suprised him and found another pioneer PL 560 to go with my Sansui quad and gave him the pioneer PL 530. He is very happy. I also am because I really like the 560 it is a great work horse of a table.

I'm listening to my "workhorse" right now. The PL-560 really is a nice table. congratulations and what a nice thing to do for your son!

Sweet! I sold my PL-530 almost regretably, then a PL-560 became available and I snagged it. Has a V15-lll on it in great shape. I also have a PL-630 I bought with a complete silver rack system and it has a Pioneer cart on it.

Enjoy your new one and I`m sure you`ve taught your son how to handle and clean those platters. My 18 YO lost his vinyl privileges when he more than once failed to put them back after listening.

Yes I would not like it if he did not put them back. That sounds like a sweet setup with the silver rack system. I still think Pioneer turntables are some of the best in that price range.
