Pickering 625 or 750?

I have a gold bodied Pickering cartridge, I believe to be an XV-15. It had a D750 Stylus. I am wondering what the differance is between an XV-15/625 and an XV-15/750. Is it just the stylus and if so, which stylus is the better one for listening to older Rock LPs?

I have both and to be honest with you, my ears cannot differentiate a great deal between them; perhaps a little more detail with the 750. I'm a 70's/80's rock guy myself. I will say that I've tried to swap the stylii and they are NOT interchangeable. The 625 was a mess on the the 750 body, at least on the carts that I have.

Hmmm... No difference in the XV-15 bodies that I'm aware of, your results not withstanding. I will say that after the D11S stylus, the D625 is one of my favorites.
