I use this table as a desk/workbench, and it's in my combined kitchen/office.:yes:

To the right is my RCM, a VPI 16.5 on a stand.

To the left, a vintage Sansui CA-2000/BA-2000 setup. You can just see the corner of a JVC-QL-50 on top of my Sony C85 ES changer (plugged into a Parasound DAC).:thmbsp:

Is that a "piston" above the kitchen table.

A vintage VW Scirocco piston, turned into an ashtray (tho' I don't smoke).
