Dang. There are about a billion posts on this thread. But like any other narcissist, I guess I'll add my own.

This is my listening room, which I call The Soul of the House:

Soul01.jpg

This room is small (roughly 14'x14'), but dedicated. It serves precisely two purposes:

1. Listening room.

2. Armory.

It truly is the Soul of the House. And the soul of me, for that matter.

have no words Saigo,

what amps are these??

Are you in goth/dark music? (bauhaus, joy division...)...

...just kidding, don't use your katana against me!!!

B&K M-200 Sonata monoblocks. They may be the best gear in the chain. They're built like tanks, and God knows they have no shortage of headroom.

Are you in goth/dark music? (bauhaus, joy division...)...

Whatever could have given you that idea...?

The fact is, however, that you're partially correct. I used to say that "all truly good music is dark in some way," and while I don't tend to say that anymore, even now much of the music I love most has something of that in it. And Sisters of Mercy was one of the first bands that really rocked my world, so I have my share of gothic music.

Your soul is dusty.

In that, I suppose that it's an accurate metaphor for my soul, which doesn't get used much these days. The Soul of the House, on the other hand, gets used rather more, which makes the dust less easy to excuse.

My housekeeping sucks. I admit it.
