I am restoring a nice SX-828. Its main amp board(AWH01D) was cooked so I acquired a replacement (same ID number, slightly newer version) All of the pins align as expected EXCEPT on this new board there is a green wire (wire-wrapped looks factory) at pin 30 on the bottom (foil side) of the board. It was cut so I do not know were it was intended to connect and I cannot find any reference on any schematic or service manual. Any idea where it should be connected and its purpose? I’ve done a couple of SX-828s and never seen this. Again, it look factory. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The schematic shows pin 8 going to the power supply but it's actually the wire at pin 30 going to the power supply board AWR-010 pin 20.
Pin 8 and pin 30 are the same trace.
The pics show a green wire from pin 30 to pin 20 on the power supply board.
Is there a wire at pin 29? Pin 29 is connected to pin 7 (same trace) which connects to AWR-010 power supply pin 22. My pics show a yellow wire going from pin 7 on the amp board to pin 22 on the power supply board.
If your board pin 29 or pin 7 isn't connected to pin 22 on the power supply board AWR-010 then it won't get power to that side of the board.

Great questions. Pin 30 has direct continuity with pin 8 and pin 29 with pin 7. Pin 7 has a yellow wire stub still wound on it and I know it goes to pin 22 on the power supply. The schematic is clear there. There is nothing to suggest pin 29 ever had a wire attached. Can you clarify for me where I need to route the green wire from pin 30 to on the power supply? It’s a little hard to tell from the photos. You’ve been a big help.
