I have been finding a lot of Who records the last couple of days at the Thrift. Any big fans who spin wax? The live at Leeds or what ever it is still has all the paraphanalia with it.
I haven't cleaned and played anby yet but they looked OK. Well so did the Grand Funk but it had a couple of skips.
I just bought 44 albums.

Yes and yes respectively. Not really looking for anything (got 'em all in some form/condition on vinyl) except possibly: Original Decca or (even better) UK Track Records "Who's Next", original US or UK "The Who Sing My Generation" and or "A Quick One" (a.k.a. "Happy Jack" in the US). US was decca, I think. UK would've been Brunswick.

EDIT: Oh, an original US "Tommy" (Decca, I presume) would be cool...

Thanks for asking!

Tommy is Decca.
Who's next is Decca
Live at Leeds is Decca, has poster, delivery reciepts and other stuff
Quadraphenia is MCA 1973

I am all set with Live at Leeds and Quadrophenia (both great albums, by the way). I'll PM ye about the other two...

I have both mono and stereo Decca copies of "The Who Sell Out" (featuring "I Can See For Miles"). Both have silly lead out grooves on Side 2 that are different from the UK pressings. Both have similiar mixes, unlike most albums of the day where the mono and stereo would have very different mixes or versions of songs.

The mono version of The Who- Sellout was the very first LP that I bought.Had to play it on an old tubed Webcor record player.David

I have the Live at Leeds orginal LP and the "Remaster CD" with Two CDs.
They say this remaster have the original sequence of songs. From the beggining of the show 'till the end, wich doesn't happen in the original LP.
I've also got Odds & Sods, original LP from Track Record and Final Re-mixed by John Entwistle on 4th of July 74.

Long Live Rock.
