Pine Tree Audio 3 Way Splitter for SCHIIT AUDIO MODI

AltonT

" In the Beginning, There was the MC7100.....
Hello Forum, :)
I wanted to share my experience in setting up my SCHIIT AUDIO Modi Multibit DAC
with PINE TREE AUDIO interconnects. :)

I needed to "split" the Output of my SCHIIT AUDIO Modi DAC to three components.
1st. to my MonoPrice Tube Intergrated Amp.
2nd to my SCHIIT AUDIO LOKI EQ > NOBSOUND Pre Amp > B&K Amp
3rd to my SCHIIT AUDIO MAGNI 3+ > McIntosh 7100 > Polk Audio Sub Woofer

I went to Jesse at PINE TREE AUDIO for the Interconnects.
I chose the ISO-QUAD Cables in Red and Midnight Blue ( got color choices for color coding the systems)
I also bought a pair of ISO-QUADs for the NOBSOUND Pre Amp.
I bought Pine Tree's BLUE PRISM cable for the Sub Woofer's Amp.
`I am very pleased with Jesse's work and his many choices of Audio Cable selections.
Thank you Jesse (Pine Tree Audio)
Thanks guys, for viewing..

Alton T. :)

Interesting..
I prefer, when splitting my L/R line out to use a quality active 1X5 distribution/splitter line level amp, like the (3) HQ 500 MHz bandwidth, 0db(fixed gain) Calrad brand ones that I bought used on eBay almost 10 yrs. ago, that have been in constant 24/7/365 use since..
Very high quality and transparent with excellent buffering & isolation between input, & output, and between the outputs, with zero chance of impedance interaction, and any undesirable effects, that can happen when strapping multiple inputs to a output..

But that`s just me.

Hello Bill,
I know you are right.
I did not know the tech affects..
Thanks. :)
I rarely use the sub woofer.. and, only/most times, use one amp/set up at a time.
still, I can still believe that those "extra" legs have some affects/effects..

I have my components in that low double cube end tables, right in front where I sit/listen, so, I can reach
all the components.
Each/most recordings I listen to are different, so, I adjust as required.
Some recordings just have no low bass/frequencies.

The easy/low cost splitter method does O.K. :)
My system is low budget and I have too many stuff already plugged in.
Another component like the one Bill mentioned, would do the job correctly, but, I'm O.K.

I'm sure better systems would do it like you did Bill. :)
Thanks...

Greetings all,

I also want to “sing the praises“ of Jesse at Pine Tree Audio.

I’ve had him do three projects for me: 1) build an ISO-Power 15A Power Filter box with an off/on switch to power my electrostatic speakers, 2) divide up an 11-foot pair of AudioNote Lexus interconnects into three shorter pairs, and 3) convert the shortest of these pairs of interconnects into Y-adapters to input to my new subwoofers.

In all cases he did an excellent job. In this last case, he quoted me an estimate of $75-100. This amount seemed extremely reasonable and I was happy to agree. When he had finished, the actual invoice was for $68.99.

He is simply a real joy to work with.
