Hell, Totem, I grew up in Burnaby, near to the lake -- still go out there every/every other weekend. :) I'd be up for that one of these days.
 
OK lets get an idea of who might want to get together on a Sat or Sun actual date to be decided. Because I am on call 24hrs I need a little advance notice to have another cover for me. Send me a PM and we can see where we go from there.

Hey everyone, I'm also a closet CL skulker, and I'd also be more than happy to come out and see what people are desecrating their living rooms with, it's also possible my own may be up for review if I can clear away enough space...I had looked into a local club in the GVRD through canuckaudiomart, but I'm trying to reduce the amount of $$$ spent on my stereo, and I didn't think going to listen to BAT, Krell and Thalon systems where going to help me maintain my sanity. So add me to the loop for finds/meets and let's all keep the good stuff where it belongs!

We don't have a way to loop yet, at least quickly. Perhaps one good thing we can do is add all the locals that have responded to our buddy list, so we can at least alert each other to potential deals. It may be good too for exchanging crap-lists of stuff that is gathering dust that we may trade.
Also, maybe a sticky thread for the Vancouver Area, then we can post our wants and 'lerts there.
Any other ideas?

The reason I ask is that there has been a low response rate from PMs for the Van meet.

I found a few Floyd cassettes that may be on the purge list after I hear them. I'll let you know. Tonight I managed to purge a bunch of jazz, classical and oddball stuff to one of g.f.'s students. Two more boxes gone! :thmbsp:
I dropped into that record/ballet shoe store. You're right... they purged a bunch too! My next job is to sort the rest better, and start getting serious about reclaiming space.

OMG, that was me. And I was going to ask you if you'd heard about this forum. I'd like to reiterate my thanks for that, they're all still at Alexis's place, but she's going to let me take a couple of them home soon :thmbsp:
