Pinnacle PN-5+

I bought a pair of Pinnacle PN-5+s off of Ebay for $29.95+shipping. Anyone know anything about these speakers? I am mainly interested with the efficiency because I am pairing them with a Sonic T-amp, but any info would be good. I read that Stereo Review liked them in the 80s.

Greetings:

I have had two sets of these speakers since they came out years ago. I used them as support speakers in a Yamaha proprietary surround system and they performed flawlessly. I still use them for a variety of uses and love these speakers. 10 watts will adequetly drive these speakers for most applications. They are not particularly sensitive. I can't remember their actual stats, but this was never a concern. You should be very happy with them. If you hadn't won them I would have! Enjoy

Wagdad,

I am very happy to say that I love these things. They are efficient enough for the room I have them in and they sound fantastic combined with my Sonic T-Amp. For thirty bucks, they were a bargain! :thmbsp:

Reviving an old thread, this time intentionally. :D My mother in law just found a pair of these speakers in a box the basement, no doubt the work of my father in law's scrounging (something he did up until about five years ago). I hooked them up, and they are GOOD little speakers! Very smooth sounding. I will have to do an A/B with my Klipsch RB-10.
