Pinnacle PN6+ - 8 ohm or 6 ohm?

I picked up a pair of Pinnacle PN6+ at a garage sale. Very good condition and sound great. Label on the back of each says 8 ohms. When researching these on the internet I found a (.pdf) Pinnacle sales brochure of the entire PN+ line that gives specs for all their speakers at that time (1992). It shows the PN6+ and PN8+ to be 6 ohm speakers; while the others (PN2+, 5+, 50, 60, and 70) to be 8 ohms.

Does anyone know which is correct?

I want to get a new receiver (my Kenwood KR-6200 randomly drops channels) on a limited to budget and am concerned about driving 6 ohm speakers with a receiver that calls for 8 ohms min.

Thanks,

If the speaker says 8 ohms(as mine do) my belief it is 8 ohms.Nice sounding little speaker.I picked up a thrift pair a few years back for $6 and still use them.Try cleaning the controls on your Kenwood as that may be the problem.
