Pioneer A-90 Integrated Amp Problem - Line Straight Function

I recently acquired this amp and I've been using it with a PC + Schiit Modi 3 DAC. I have run into a problem though. When the Line Straight functionality is NOT being used I get distortion in the left channel. This happens when using headphones and speakers.

Not a huge deal considering I prefer to use Line Straight, but I'd like to fix the issue if possible. Can anybody shed some light on what could be causing this?

The line straight setting bypasses the tone controls, loudness and similar processing (possibly the balance as well, I'm too lazy to look for the manual). Try using Deoxit on all those controls as a start.
