Pioneer #ASK-067 sub for #ASK-080 Power Switch?

I need a Power switch for an SX-980. I've seen in many forum posts that power switches for 939, 1010, 950, 1050, 1080 1250, 1280 will work. However, I located a switch supposedly from an SX-939 and it is labelled ASK-067 instead of the ASK-080 from the SX-980.

Can anybody confirm if the ASK-067 works in the SX-980, both fit and function?

That's what I was worried about, its advertised as for a SX939 but model number didn't seem to match up. Physically it looks to be the same switch as the ASK-080 from what I can tell.

According to my database, the ASK-080 was used in the following models:

The ASK-067 was used it the following F models (multi-voltage for export):

The ASK-068 was used in the following GN models (220V):

As far as I know, the switch for the GN model has two sets of contacts. The SM isn't clear on the difference between the ASK-080 and ASK-067.

This one appears to be just two contacts, or one set. Think it will suffice in place of the ASK-080?

Usually when different part numbers are specified for similar items, there is some difference between them. In this case, whether the difference is significant is unknown to me.

I guess I can take a shot at it, $40 so not cheap. I guess I was concerned if the initial current draw would be an overload on it. Guess there's only one way to find out. Thanks for the info.

did it work?
Not sure yet, still on my stacked projects list...remodelling the new house I moved into has taken up my time for the last 9 months and foreseeable future. Whenever I get to it, I'll come back and update this though.
