Pioneer Blue-Line (fluoroscan) gear price-advice needed

Hi all,

I got my eyes on some pioneer gear with I identified as pieces out of the blue-line series. (see picture attached)
The price is set at 150€. This seems like a good price to me at first.. but I'm at no means an expert on vintage gear & pricing so I'd like some more professional advice (read: a poke in the back) before I snag and feel good about it.

I'm going to check / audition the gear any time soon.

You guys think that price is ok + what type would the tapedeck and tuner be?

I think I recognize:
a) amp sa-7800 (european version so sa-708)
b) EQ SG-9800
c) tuner UNKNOWN
d) Tapedeck UNKNOW

Thanks a lot in advance!

I think that might be a TX-608 Tuner. So it looks like you have a very nice, matching set. In my neck-o-the-woods I would be pleased to pay $200 for the four pieces.

First of all, while the SA-5800 was the same as the SA-508, and the SA-6800 was the same as the SA-608, the SA-7800 was a different model than the SA-708. Not just different in the knob layout on the front, but different inside as well. The SA-7800 used the "non-switching" architecture like the SA-8800 & SA-9800, while the SA-708 did not.

The tuner has one more switch on the front than my TX-608, so I'm pretty sure it is a TX-608L. The tape deck looks like my CT-F750.

Not so sure about the pricing, but it seems reasonable, if everything is working.

Owww so I got my info wrong on the sa-7800 = sa-708. Read about it in a diffrent thread on these forum. Thanks for pointing that out for me! (I just compared 2 pics of a sa-7800 and a sa-708 and they indeed look diffrent!)

Am I missing out on the non-switching tech? If your nick is "sa-708" I assume you have positive xp with this type of amp?

If I'm going too off-topic for dollars and sence and should move over to the pioneer forums with my Q's just tell me.

Kind regards,
Theumen
