Picked up a pair of these yesterday at my local Goodwill. They are in fairly good shape, the grills are in PERFECT condition. Have really had a chance to give them a listen yet. I hope to have time tonight. I will also get photos later tonight.

What can be said about these speaker????
IF they are junk I didn't get hurt to bad at $20.99 for the set

I have a set that are minty myself I like them, I don't believe many think they are really good speakers but they put out nicely with my sx recievers, trying to figure out if the 2 small tweeters have sound coming out, check yours and let me know
 
I have some CS-77s. I find the high treble a bit weak, but otherwise the sound is good. They are very efficient, so you get a lot of sound with very little power. Right now I have them connected to my eight-track tape deck and a very small receiver. They'll rattle the windows in that small bedroom.
 
Well as promised.....Really haven't done much with them other then wipe the dust off. I did listen to them the other night for a few hours.....They really don't sound to horrible I mean certainly not top of the line nor my best sounding speaker, but not horrible at all. I say this with a tone deaf armature ear. Just someone who enjoys music and vintage gear.

I also picked up a Robin Trower Live reel for a $1.99......This was the real deal for me.





 
There is a later version of the CS 63 that is worth quite a bit. It has the wooden grill and maybe a letter after the CS 63. I think it is CS 63D.

I had a pair of 63s (no "D") that were in nearly perfect condition. They sold for $125 locally. I had other speakers whose sound I preferred.
 
Here are my cs63-dx speakers I paid 75.00 for the pair, I would like to have them all tested to see what condition the parts are, and a deox on the controls they are scratchy
