Pioneer CS 66 & CS 77 Audiophile??

A current e-bay description. "A pair of Pioneer model # CS-66 vintage speakers form 1970. It's a hi-end audiophile sound quality speaker set. They sound and work GREAT. Retail was $220 way back in 1970." Not much data on these speakers here on AK and was wondering if these were indeed top of the line audiophile quality speakers in their day. Any comments?

I dunno. I used to have a pair of Layfayette speakers that each had 1 coaxial Goodman's 15" and one coaxial Matsushita mid/tweeter. The early Japanese Matsushita's were high-end and well made and sounded great, but didn't sell for much money at all. I should have kept them for a DIY instead of selling them.
