Pioneer CS-77 Tweeter and Midrange replacement

Hi

I came across these Pioneer CS-77's. Got them for £10.00. When I fired them up at home I noticed that the tweeter on one of the speakers was not working. So i'm wondering what could be suitable replacements for the tweeter and midrange?

Take off all of the screws in the back of the cabinet and inspect the crossover and perhaps deoxit the the circular metal "pot" (if that is what it is) that has something to do with the frequency knobs on the back of the speaker. Then take a DMM to the tweeter to see if it is still working. You may want to change the caps one is 12uf the other is a weird one (I cant remember is it 4.3uf?) something odd.
I paid about the same for mine ($17) but never really took to them they were way to bright and not enough bass...recapping may bring back the tweeter but I do not know if it will improve the sound. If you have the CS-77 that is ....the CS-77A is totally different speaker. I took them back to the thrift store. But you may like them and they are highly efficient.
I would do these steps first before investing in other drivers..

Look in the 4 corners of the front grill you will see four small screws...unscrew them and remove the lattice grill you will see the drivers...
