Hi everyone! I need some advice about which pioneer speakers are better than the other. I have the chance to buy either of the pairs both priced around $300. I'm new to Hi-Fi gear and am clueless at the moment about which speakers would be better but I'm trying to stick with all pioneer equipment. These will be paired up with an SX-838. Any advice or reviews that you had with them would help. -Thanks!

Both are excellent, but my vote is the CS-63DX. 4 way, 6 drivers, 15" woofer vs. 3 way, 3 drivers, 12" woofer. Frequency response on the 63DX is better. If the pair you have a chance to buy is in decent condition, go for it. You won't be sorry.
Keep in mind - you will probably have to replace the caps in the crossovers due to age in either set.
