Hi all!
I've purchased yet another pair of speakers this last weekend, a almost pristine pair of Pioneer CS-R700, manufactured in Mozambique (!) an really really rare in the neck of the woods:

I suppose that these are well known to most Pioneer fans and they are very klipescheske, really impressive in real person, even more so than my ex- JBL L112's, L150's or ESS AMT-1b.
The thing is, I've tried them with a Sanyo JCX-2900 before all the rubbing down, cleaning, removing of the drivers and crossovers (for recapping purposes) and they sound absolutely glorious, even with both tweeters silent.
I've measured them and they read 2 ohm's each, I suppose they should read 8 ohm's. I've dismantled them, cleaned up the VC - some corrosion but no signs of burning there - reflowed the solder but no luck avail, still 2 ohm. So, I'm now on the hunt for a replacement pair of PT-406f-2 horn tweeters, can someone help me by saying which other models used this reference and if I can use a PT-406f-1 with the same effect?
Sorry for the long description!
