Pioneer CT-F6161 Tape deck...

Hi Group,

Just picked up a nice CT-F6161 made by Pioneer. Has anyone owned one of these? Has different type of transport, horizontal.

Just picked one and a Fisher RS-2010 from a church sale for $5.00. The Fisher worked like a champ, not so lucky with the CTF-6161. Cleaned it up ordered new belts from Vintasge-Electronics (not the easiest job to replace) and replaced the fuses. Now it all systems go! I'm not real fond of the inclined transport however, my tapes usually slide out and onto the foor when I eject them! Still you don't see these everyday, and they do play nice.

I have not worked on mine yet, seems to need head cleaning thats all?
All functions work. I liked it because of the way it looked also, different. :thmbsp:

Can't wait to hear mine play.
