Pioneer CTF 1000. Slipping FF and REW

Anyone know where I can get the rubber end on the FF and REW motor on a CTF 1000? I tried sanding it down and it worked for awhile. The CTF 9191 I own has the same problem that sanding the glaze off. It worked and still does. The 1000 is soft and does not grip anymore. Asked Terry Dewitt and he does not do Pioneers:tears: Any help would be appreciated!

Yor problem is likely not the motor pulley, but excessive resistance, due to a problem in the FF/REW idler/clutch assy. Do an AK search on the topic. There is an abundance of information.

If you still think it is the pulley, check with www.wjoe.com

IF the problem is due to hardening and shining of a rubber idler or roller, sanding it is not a solution. It still remains hard, will soon get polished and you loose size.

I have tried a rubber restoration liquid from reelproguys. I tried it on a decomissioned pinch roller that was hard as a wood. It became good as new. Very smooth, soft and grippy. It's not expensive so it is really worth a try.
