Hello Everyone..
I have a Pioneer CTF 750 that is spotless as far as appearance that I have for a couple of years and it worked just fine. but in the last couple of months, it seemed to be weak when I play a tape. The rpm is inconsistent and sometimes would not play tapes at all. Now, it stopped turning at all. so no playback, rewind, fast forward. I opened it up and the belts are intact. Is it possible that an electronic part (something that is soldered) went out? is that a possibility? Thanks to everyone out there in the vintage world...
