Pioneer DSS-9 Speakers Crossover Networks Recap

Hi,

I am considering replacing the old capacitors in my DSS-9 speaker networks. I am handy with soldering but need help identifying and ordering correct replacement parts. Each speaker has two networks. The parts list from the service manual is:

Can someone help confirm the accuracy of the capacitor types and values? Also, help identify the correct replacement capacitors (BOM) to order from Mouser/Digikey or some other reliable source.

I recapped mine a couple of years ago. I got caps from Parts Express. Jantzen or Audyn are good quality and good value. For larger value or electrolytic, the Dayton electrolytic house brand is fine. If you got the list from the manual, you should be good. That's what l did for mine. Some values were off quite a bit. There's a big mylar cap on the woofer board I believe, that one is probably fine since they don't deteriorate as badly. I went ahead and replaced it though, since I already had the part.

@absolve2525, Any chance you still have the Parts Express part#/SKUs? Order receipts usually also have this information. If you can share it, it will greatly help. Also, did you replace some electrolytics with film capacitors or did your replace everything with the same type. Thanks

How did it sound after recapping? I've got a pair and I've been thinking of doing the same as well...maybe with upgraded capacitors too. May start w/ just the ribbons and move to the mids. Complicated crossover.
