Not sure what might be the correct forum...but the problem is that the 'Elite'
DV45a 'hangs' on certain cds'/dvds and seems to have a problem reading the disc...
Yes, they are older disks and dvds with some minor scratches. However, my Sony CD/DVD player from 1998 plays them without any problem...on a really bad disc, if it hits a bad spot it just advances to the next good spot...
So did I get a bum steer on the DV45a? Is it inferior to a 9 year old sony?
Or does somethng need cleaning, adjusting or whatever....??
