Pioneer Elite PD-75, good buy???

[dj_AmTraX]

I just landed myself a Pioneer Elite PD-75 stable plater CD player. What do you guys think? I have never seriously listen to a Pioneer Elite CD player before. See my sig for my other CD players. Please give me your opinion. Thanks!

I have no experience with that model, but if their Elite series LD players --and the CD player built into their TOTL (Elite) LD+CD player-- is anything to go by, you should be in for a nice surprise. It's very musical.

I was told when I found mine that I had scored the "holy grail" of the Elite player line.

I use it as a transport, and it does a super job. It is a fine machine. $1200 new in 1991 and weighs in at a hefty 28 lbs.

Nice find.:thmbsp:

If my experience with my Elite DV-38A DVD equates to anything you will be one happy cat....

Damn good score. Many Pioneer fans will "upgrade" from the PD 65 to that model.
