HI all,
I recently picked up a very nice Pioneer PD-75 Elite Cd player in very good condition.
It is beautiful to look at and it sounds spectacular. I am not dissatisfied with it at all, but I wanted to ask the group if there are modifications that one can make to this player.
I've heard of the possibility of replacing the op-amp. Somewhere else online I read that the PD2028 DAC is less ideal than others, but with no more specific info. I have no previous knowledge of the PD2028, but I suspect it's great.
Does anyone in the group know about mods to this player? I known that some people use the PD-75 as a transport and link to an external DAC, but I have no plans to do this.
Again, I am not dissatisfied at all, just wondering what, if anything, people have done as internal mods, and with what result.
