Hi! I found a Pioneer FX-330 (identical to SX-330? except radio bands?) in very good condition in a charity shop.
It has a combined Volume / Balance knob, where it's "split" in two, and the inner part is balance while the outer part is volume. Problem with mine is they are completely stuck to one another. I assume the inner and outer part are supposed to be able to turn independently but I can not for the life of me manage to do that on mine. Tried with cleaning spray, IPA and even some wd40. Now I'm wondering if perhaps there's another way to adjust balance? Should the knob be pulled or pushed or something like that? Has anyone fixed an issue like this before? What did you do?
