Pioneer HPM-100 Killers!!

Extremely rare and all original HPM-1100's! Been quite a while since I saw a pair for sale. Nice to see they still have the carbon graphite woofers and not some other replacement which is so common to see and understandable given how brittle they are when refoaming is needed. Real walnut veneer cabinets.

#1 or #2 HPM-series model ever, IMO.........

Still a very good deal at $800 BIN in what seems to be great condition.
My smaller, 12-inch HPM-900 are simply great sounding speaker systems.

I'm sooo close to pulling the trigger on these, I'd sure like to hear a pair
first, how do they stack up with hpm 100's? I'm guessing for bass, is there
a huge change in sound?

I saw a pair of these in a shop here (Hong Kong) about three days ago. I didn't even ask the price, as that shop is usually a little steeper than my normal stalking grounds, but seeing what these are selling for abroad, now I'm wondering...:scratch2: ...

Hey I like'em too but if you want these look close. . .

1)- Over 1000 difference in serial numbers
2)- Look close at the grills, veneer, corners, bottoms

I'd ask for more pictures before plunking down close to a grand. I'm sure the seller would accomodate you. . . Don't be blinded by pretty. . .
