Hello, I would like to solve an issue with my amp. Firstly sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker. Secondly, sorry for longer post, I have been googling my problem for some time and it seems nobody had my issue. So I will try to describe it as good as I can.
I got the unit like 3 months ago and displays were working great. First minutes after powering the unit on, they were not that bright, but brightness was consistent across all width of the lines. After for example half an hour of playing, the brightness of both displays increased very noticeably.
Only once I had issue when I powered the unit on, displays were very dim, they were lit very little only on the sides, the center part of lines was practically dead. But after 10 minutes of playing, it fixed itself and they lit all across full width again... Unfortunately I didn't took a photo of this.
And now what concerns me.. Last week I took the unit to local repair shop, because power / protect bulbs were broken and I wanted them replaced. When I got the unit back, both displays were lit only little on left side, right side was practically not lit at all. After some hours of play it got better, but it's still not good. Right side of both displays is still noticeably dimmer.
Repairman told me he did nothing with the displays, only replaced the faulty bulbs. He also told me that displays are probably worn after all those years and he can do nothing about it, which is clearly not true, because two weeks before repair, both displays were shining very bright.
My question is, what can cause this? I'm not an expert myself, but my guess is lower or volatile voltage supplied for the front board with the displays. Can somebody please confirm this may be the problem? Eventually, which electrical component may cause this? Or guide me.. Thanks for you help. I'm attaching some photos.
Photos without center yellow power bulb lit on are previous, bright and mostly functional state, and with yellow bulb is present faulty state with right side of displays dim.
