Pioneer pdr-555rw discs question

I just picked up a pdr-555rw cd recorder and was wondering if anyone could recommend a brand of cd-r that works with this model (and that is hopefully readily available). I know it needs the 'digital audio', also known as consumer only, type discs and not just regular computer cdrs. Will memorex 'music cdrs' work?

Those should work fine. Beware, the really cheap ones tend to delaminate over time. The memorex should be decent.

Thanks. I'm not too worried about long term storage, will just be using the recorder for fun to rip some vinyl to cd. Many home audio cd recorders seem to be finicky over the brand of audio cd-r; guess I'll pick up a cheap 5 pack to make sure it will accept them first.

For the Pioneer, it must use Music CD-R or CD-RW only. MAM-A/MAM-E best, Sony OK, Memorex and TDK usually OK.
