Pioneer PL 10 vs. Technics SL D3

Deciding on a PL10 or a SLD3. Both are in excellent condition and both have AT95e cartridges. Outside of the manual belt drive vs. the full automatic technics, any feedback on what is a better quality turntable? I will be setting it up with a Pioneer SX 727 and Cerwin Vega D2 speakers. Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

The D3 is a considerably better turntable. You can compare their specs at vinylengine website.

I'm not familiar with the Pioneer but, I own a D2 and a D3. Both have been solid performers for me. I'm seriously thinking about picking up a D1 that's available locally. I agree with the other's that have voted for the Technics.

Both are capable turntables if set up correctly. My preference would be the SL-D3 for the auto features alone.

BTW - I used to have the CV D2's many years ago. Pretty impressive 2-way speakers!
